I had been using a cheapo straightener that I bought in high school, when it finally bit the bullet and died on me. Not only is this ISA professional flat iron hair straightener ceramic - its 100% solid ceramic, which is even better!

A few things that I love - the auto heat function is awesomesauce. That ensures that I'm not using too high of a heat on my bangs and thinner areas, and I love that it means that all I have to do is switch it on and start straightening, no guess work involved! I also have been watching a ton of YouTube tutorials on how to create waves using a flat iron and this ISA professional one is so much easier to make really cute waves and curls than my previous one was, which I think is due to the size, shape and the fact that its 100% solid ceramic. The cord also swivels around 360 degrees, so no getting caught up in it!
